Dear Classrooms Without Walls and Winds of Change friends,
We are delighted to invite you to the publication celebration of (A)maze, which will be held on September 19 at 10:00 a.m. Alberta time. (A)maze is a collection of stories, poems, and artwork created by teenagers from Ukraine, Afghanistan, and Myanmar whose lives have been shaped by war, displacement, and uncertainty. Developed across borders through the Winds of Change youth leadership group, the anthology opens a window into young people’s inner worlds – their fears, hopes, resilience, and search for freedom.
Winds of Change has been working on this book for the past four years, and we are incredibly excited to finally see it published. We would love for you to join us in celebrating this milestone, which marks not only the completion of a long and meaningful project, but also another step toward raising awareness of the experiences of young people living through conflict.
At the heart of (A)maze is a question that has guided the project from the beginning: Where does the mind go when the world is in chaos? Follow this link to join us as we celebrate the young people who shared their voices, creativity, and experiences through this book.
