Classrooms Without Walls Institute is looking for 1-2 folks to join our current board of seven as we push to raise funding in the next year for the GED exams, data packages for students to get online, and other logistical support. Commitment is ~4 hours/month (including 1 hour monthly Board meeting). All Board service is virtual/online.
To qualify for a Board position, nominees must meet the following criteria:
- Demonstrated commitment to CWW’s mission to provide free education to students in conflict zones.
- Relevant expertise in areas such as education, law, finance, fundraising, governance, public relations, or nonprofit management.
- Availability to dedicate sufficient time to Board duties, including attending meetings, participating in committees, and contributing to initiatives.
- Ability to work collaboratively and uphold the organization’s values of inclusion, equity, and compassion.
- Preferred: Experience with fundraising and marketing.
